Elections Process

JOIN OUR TEAM:  The Student Senate for California Community Colleges will hold elections for its Board Officers for the 2024 - 25 term during the 2024 General Assembly April 5 - 7, 2024, in Santa Clara. Per the SSCCC Bylaws, the Board Officer positions are: 

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Vice President of Regional Affairs
  • Vice President of Legislative Affairs
  • Vice President of Finance
  • Vice President of Communications 

TIMELINES: 

Election Announcement: January 29th 
Election Webinar: February 7th 4:00pm - 5:30pm 
Intent to Run Application Due: February 19th  
Notified of Eligibility:  February 23rd
Candidate Statements Due:  March 11th 
Candidate Statements Posted Online: March 18th
Mandatory Candidate Forum: April. 5th 
Elections at General Assembly: April 7th
