2022 General Assembly 

The Student Senate for California Community Colleges is excited to announce the 26th General Assembly will be held on April 1 - 3, 2022, in-person in Sacramento. During the General Assembly, delegates come together to provide the Board of Directors, through the resolution process, with priorities that guide the organization for the upcoming year. Delegates will also have the opportunity to elect the 2022 - 23 SSCCC Board Officers during the General Assembly. 

The General Assembly also includes engaging workshops and speakers throughout the event. Students, advisors, faculty, staff, and any other interested parties are invited to attend. This year's General Assembly will be held primarily in-person with resolution voting and board officer elections available online. Workshops will not be available online. Admission prices vary depending on the ticket type.

  • Students: $350
  • Advisors: $375 
  • Student Official Delegate: Waived
  • Presenter Registration: $300
  • General Admission: $400

  • The deadline to make room reservations is March 2, 2022. After this date, the rate will increase. 

COVID-19 Policy:

All registrants who attend in-person SSCCC events are required to be fully vaccinated (have received the full series of the COVID-19 vaccine, including a booster). The only exemptions to this policy will be for religious or medical reasons. Any exemptions must be pre-approved, and when granted, specific health protocols must be followed. For more information about requesting an exemption, please contact Rosita Olalde at rolalde@ssccc.org.

SSCCC will follow the safety guidelines established by the facility hosting the event, the county department of public health in which the event is located, and/or the State of California. Registrants will be required to sign a Liability Waiver prior to attending the event. Registrants will receive logistical information via email, including safety and prevention measures, before arrival. The SSCCC will continue to monitor county and state COVID-19 guidelines and may make changes to this policy as circumstances dictate or allow.
