2023 General Assembly

The Student Senate for California Community Colleges is excited to announce the 27th General Assembly on March 31 - April 2, 2023, in Long Beach, CA. During the General Assembly, delegates come together to provide the Board of Directors, through the resolution process, with priorities that guide the organization for the upcoming year. Delegates will also have the opportunity to elect the 2023 - 24 SSCCC Board Officers during the General Assembly and to network with other student leaders. 

The General Assembly also includes engaging workshops and speakers throughout the event. Students, advisors, faculty, staff, and any other interested parties are invited to attend. 

Schedule: The event begins on Friday, March 31st at 8:30 am with training for delegates. The first keynote begins at 11:00 am. The event ends on Sunday, April 2nd at 1:00 pm after resolution voting.

Meals provided

  • Friday - continental breakfast and lunch 
  • Saturday - breakfast and lunch
  • Sunday - breakfast  

The 2023 General Assembly will be held at The Westin Long Beach at 333 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802.

Call for Proposals

The SSCCC General Assmebly is currently accepting proposals for workshop session presenters. We welcome you to become an integral part of the SSCCC event. This year, the SSCCC will be inviting groups of students, associated student body organizations, partners, and other stakeholders to provide the platform for insightful and empowering discussions and collaboration between students, educators, and other interested parties.
