Nelva Ruiz-Martinez
Nelva Ruiz-Martinez is currently the ASG president for San Bernardino Valley College and the first student ambassador for San Bernardino Community College District. She plans to major in political science with an emphasis in international relations, public policy, and public administration. She is a strong advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, affordable housing, basic needs, and student hunger. She recently traveled to Washington DC, and met with Senator Padilla, Congressman Pete Aguilar and a few others to advocate for student hunger by streamlining the application process. In her free time she enjoys serving the community and spending time with her friends and family.
