Leonardo Vanegas
Leonardo Vanegas (He/him) is a student at Southwestern College, studying Political Science in hopes of transferring to San Diego State. Before serving as the Regional Affairs Director, Leo was his college's delegate for roughly 2 years (2021-2023). During that time, a senator before being elected President of his Student Government in which he served from 2022-2023. During his term, he focused on civic engagement, funding for clubs, mental health, and basic needs for students. Leo takes pride in being a trinational citizen, being a citizen of the United States, Mexico, and Colombia. He's excited to work alongside with other colleges at the state level to continue building a better California together.
