Region X Legislative Affairs Director

Jose M. Perez

Jose M. Perez is a student at Southwestern College double majoring in Business Management and Political Science and double minoring in Business Administration and Economics. He is also the Student Trustee for Southwestern Community College District. He plans to transfer to either UC Berkeley, Cornell University, or Stanford University to complete his Bachelors's and Associate for his double majors and double minors respectively. He strives to bring advocacy for matters that impact those who are in need of support. Through his role as the Legislative Affairs Director for Region X, he plans to bring more awareness to such items and interact with other community colleges to shine a light on matters that will impact those he represents. Jose plans to create his own Investment Firm and also create a nonprofit that is geared toward providing financial assistance for students that fall under low-income standards and aged K-12.
