Robert Alexander

Robert Alexander is a U.S. Army Veteran attending college within Region IX. He has completed multiple certificates in Crime Scene Investigations, Administration Justice, and Corrections. He has completed associate degrees in Sociology and Anthropology at Crafton Hills. He is currently working on a transfer degree in social justice and ethics studies at San Bernardino Valley College. Robert is serving on his local student senate at Crafton Hills College. Robert dreams of one day serving as a United States Congressman. Robert’s passion is advocacy and he has years of advocacy and leadership experience. His advocacy experiences have led him to travel to Sacramento and Washington DC to meet with legislative leaders. Robert will continue to address key issues that students are facing such as food and housing insecurities, mental health services, Cal Grant reform, free to low-cost textbooks, increasing Pell Grant funds for students, and all key issues that place barriers on students’ success and education. As VPRA Robert will strive to assist in the activation of all ten Regions within SSCCC and all 116 California Community Colleges
