Kishan Naik

Kishan Naik (He/Him) is a second-year student at Ohlone College, where he is pursuing degrees in Political Science, Computer Science, and Business Administration. With aspirations to transfer to a four-year university, he plans to further his education by earning a J.D. specializing in Intellectual Property and potentially entering Public Service. His passion lies at the intersection of technology, logic, and law, where he seeks to drive equitable and just access to innovation, justice, and wealth in the public and private sectors. As the current President of the Associated Students of Ohlone College, Kishan leads his student body by advocating for and drafting policies that promote affordability, equity, and accessibility. His commitment to his ideals extends beyond his campus, interning at the district office of Assemblymember Alex Lee, where he worked in the past on legislative initiatives, district priorities, and constituent services. He concurrently serves on the Transit Security Advisory Committee for the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) District, where he aims to advance safer and more inclusive transit systems, especially for youth and students within the system. In his free time, Kishan loves to explore the greater Bay Area, cook for his family, and go on long hikes with his dog, Charlie.
