Sophie Gieng
Sophie Gieng (She/Her/Hers) is a student studying Business Administration and Accounting at Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC). She is also involved in the Associated Students of Mt. SAC, serving as the Environmental Senator. Sophie is not just a student but a compassionate advocate for a sustainable future, financial literacy, and student equity. Sophie aspires to transfer to USC or the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley to complete her Bachelor’s Degree, hoping to incorporate values of social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and economic sustainability into organizational strategies and pioneer innovative solutions that benefit both businesses and the environment through her work. She wants to be the person who speaks for those who can’t speak for themselves and advocates for those who are unable to do so. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time with her cat, Syrup!
