Winifred (Wendy) Taliaferro
Winifred (Wendy) Taliaferro (She/Her/Her) is a student at Yuba College studying Early Childhood Education. She will begin at Chico State in the fall to earn her bachelor’s degree in social work. She served two terms as the President of Yuba College SBA. After earning her associate’s degree in Psychology, she discovered her true calling was to become a speech pathologist and special education instructor. She is passionate about inspiring students to engage in activities at their perspective colleges. She believes a unified student voice has the power to bring positive change. During her free time, she enjoys writing poetry, spending time with her children and grandchildren, operating her business (Next Level 1 of A Kind Creations), and working on her program, Bridging the Gap Between Law Enforcement and the Community.
