Nicholas Lujan
Nicholas Lujan is a re-entry student who is majoring in Robotic Engineering and Environmental Science. He is a fourth-generation gold miner and self-employed handyman. His pursuits in student government are in preparation to someday write a Constitution and Bill of Rights for Robots and Artificial intelligence, so humanity can coexist with the inevitable introduction of Robotic hardware and software counterparts. Nicholas is driven to find equity for struggling students on campus and is advocating/ spearheading a Peer Advocacy program in Mendocino County to teach students how to give others in the community housing resources, domestic violence options, drug and alcohol remediation outlets and other developmental programs over a 16 week course. 2023-2024 Nicholas was The Student Rights Advocate and Ecology Director for his campuses Student Government and is a standing member in multiple campus committees.
