Emily Fu
Emily Fu is a second-year Biology major at East Los Angeles College (ELAC), hoping to further pursue her education at the University of Irvine with an emphasis in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She currently serves as the Vice President of Advocacy on ELAC’s student body association. During her term, she is extremely passionate about advocating for students experiencing food and housing insecurity, the bare necessities all students should have access to. She understands the importance of student voices and ensures that all concerns, questions, and comments are heard. Becoming a Student Intern allows her to continue to passionately advocate for all students, and work closely to assist the Regional Officers. She enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and spending quality time with family and friends during her free time.
