De’Sean “Dee” Chavis (He/Him)
I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at Shasta College. I plan to transfer to a UC in
Southern California or a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) that is partnered with
CCC to HBCU and has a great Greek life because I want to pledge Alpha to continue my
commitment to advocating for and supporting African American success. I am dedicated to
establishing financial stability that leads to me being able to create generational wealth, not just
for myself, but for my current and future family by providing them with the financial literacy and
resources they need to build their own paths to success.
