Omar Campos Torres

Omar Campos Torres is a student at Hartnell College, pursuing majors in Law, Policy, and Society and Political Science. He aims to graduate in Spring 2025 and transfer to the University of California, Irvine, to obtain a bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law, and Society. Omar plans to continue his education in law school to earn a Juris Doctor and an LLM (Master of Laws) degree to become a criminal lawyer, specifically a prosecutor. Currently, Omar serves as the South County Senator in the Associated Students at Hartnell College. He is also one of the founding members and the vice president of the Book Club, which was established in the fall semester. Furthermore, he is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, where he is actively involved in revitalizing the chapter and executive terms at Hartnell College. Omar enjoys playing chess, working at the King City Education Center, and studying philosophy during his free time. His passion for philosophy led him to revive the previous philosophy club at Hartnell College.
